Gordon Tokuo Furuto, 90, of Honolulu, a retired University of Hawaii College of Engineering laboratory technician and an Army veteran who served with the 442nd Regimental Combat Team, Service Company, died. He was born in Laie. He is survived by wife Florence Y.; sons Albert H., Lyman M. and Gordon T. Jr.; daughters Jeanne M. Stack and Mary S. Kim; sister Misao Togo; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m Wednesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Committal services and burial: 1 p.m. next Thursday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Casual attire. No flowers.
