John Anduha Santiago
June 18, 2011 John Anduha Santiago, also known as "Sandy" and "Sonny," 84, of Pearl City, a Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard retiree and a Navy veteran who served at Midway Island in World War II, died in Pearl City. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Helen F.; sons John F., Glenn F., Don L.F., Steven F. and Paul F.; daughters Helen L. Malaki, Raynette J. Daite and Glori B. Su‘a; brother Albert; sister Evangeline Vegas; 26 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 1525 Waimano Home Road, Pearl City. Mass: 10 a.m. Committal services: 11 a.m. Friday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe. Aloha attire. Flowers welcome.
