78Michie “Hazel” Kanda, 91, of Kapaau, Kohala, Hawaii, a homemaker, died in Hale Ho‘ola Hamakua. She was born in Kona. She is survived by sons Larry and Walter; daughter Elaine Su mi da; brothers Hidetaka, Kenji and Kunio; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Private services. No flowers.
