81Benjamin Jose Pascual, 85, of Kurtistown, Hawaii, a former HT&T truck driver, independent trucker and retired owner of Benny’s Hauling and Cesspool Service, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Pahala, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Emily R.; sons Benjamin G. Sr., Donald Z., Lincoln W. Sr. and Ford J.; daughters Benlynne C. Astel and Donnalynn A. Casto; hanai son Anthony “Sonny” Medeiros; brothers Larry Pascual, and John and Narcisco Fernandez; sisters Filiza Padilla, Rose Rasay, Ruth Aguiar and Trinidad “Dolly” Babayan; 20 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Monday at Dodo Mortuary. Celebration of life: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Services: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. No flowers.
