FRED YOSHIO HARUNO
81, of Pearl City, Hawaii, passed away on July 11, 2011. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. Fred retired from the U.S. Department of Defense as a sheet metal worker employed at Navy Public Works Center, Pearl Harbor and previously at Schofield Barracks. He was also a retired member of Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 293 working at various commercial construction companies in Honolulu. Fred proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Korean War veteran.
Fred is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Jean; daughter, Sheri (Howard) Hanada; sons, Clyde (Debbie) Haruno and Glen Haruno; grandchildren, Scott Hanada and Jessica Haruno; and sister, Peggy Okada.
Private services were held.
