74Harriet Leonaona Kawaakoa, 79, of Hilo, a retired Honolulu Police Department community relations division counselor, former Job Corps staff counselor and Hawaii County crossing guard, died in Hilo Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Peter, Reuben and Kaiser Piilani, Michael Gooman and Henry Kawaakoa; daughters Bobbin Poahu, Emerald "Dolly" Maka, Hattie Seals, Sonja Miranda-Rivas, Roxanne Spatz and Shannon Kawaakoa; brother Robert K. Kawelo; sisters Charlotte "Sweety" Kilakalua, Judy Blakely and April Hill; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grand-children. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Potluck luncheon: 1 p.m. at Wailoa State Park. Casual attire. No flowers.
