Shoichi "James" Oya, 81, of Aiea, an Army veteran and a Hopaco retiree, died in Aiea. He was born in Aiea. He is survived by wife Joan, sons Brian and Glenn, daughters Lynette Shannon and Lorna Fortenberry, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Private services.
