Age 66, of Kaneohe, Hawaii, passed away on July 18, 2011 in Kailua. Born April 24, 1945 in Aiea, Hawaii. Leighton was a former employee of Matson Terminal and also a retired brick layer mason.
He is survived by wife, Karolyn A. McCabe Fafard; daughters, Leigina (Boy) Fafard-Kaaihue, Leiricia Fafard Maluafiti; son, Leighton Hoeha Fafard, Jr.; brothers, James E.K. MacLoves, Robert C. (Betsy) Fafard, Raymond R. (Jonesy) Fafard; sisters, Jeanette L. (Randy) Linville, Joyce P. (Michael) Nielsen; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 5:15 p.m. Saturday (July 30) at Mililani Downtown Mortuary (20 S. Kukui St., Honolulu); Funeral Service 7:00 p.m. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
