75Joseph Kamealoha Kanahele Jr., 53, of Eleele, Kauai, a retired O. Thronas heavy equipment operator, died at home. He was born in Waimea. He is survived by wife Blossom; sons Derek, Byron and Connor Kanahele and Vernon Kaohelaulii; daughters Kristy and Shirley Kaohelaulii and Blossom, Ashley and Heidi Kanahele; mother Kahalamapuana; brothers Alvin, Julius and Elvis; sisters Darlene Beniamina, Sharon Kanahele and Connie Rita; and a grandchild. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Garden Island Mortuary. Services: 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Kekaha Hawaiian Cemetery. Aloha attire.
