Age 87, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away July 17, 2011 in Honolulu. Born January 1, 1924 in Canton, China. John was the former proprietor of the Royal Hawaiian Market & Hofbrau, Green Turtle, Sandbox, Boulevard, Eagle's Nest, and Cavalier Restaurants.
He is survived by son, Ronald (Susan) Quong; daughter, Gayle Quong (Craig) Takiguchi; 2 grandchildren, Kelly Ann Takiguchi, Eric Takiguchi; numerous nieces &
nephews.
