"Sweet Lorraine", 77, also known as "Simmie" and "Lulu from Honolulu", touched many lives with her aloha and a passion for life. Born in Honolulu, she retired from Waikiki Sheraton Princess Kaiulani Minute Chef Restaurant. She passed away on July 8, 2011 at Kaiser Foundation Hospital.
Lorraine is survived by husband, Dr. Adam S.; sons, Dr. Morris M. (Kathryn), Dr. Dave A. (Linda), Dr. Alan T. (Ruby); daughter, Dr, Donna M. Thompson (Steve Jones); brother, Dr. Alvin Young; grandchildren, Dr. Kyle, Dr. Lance, Myles, Kara (Huey Huynh), Dane, Leila, Dr. Jennifer Thompson and Mary Thompson (CPA).
Visitation: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Memorial service: 12:00 noon. Burial: To follow at 3:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples.
