Fred Matsukichi Kaneshiro, 88, of Kailua, owner of General Distributors Inc. and an Army veteran, died in Kailua. He was born in Lahaina. He is survived by wife Tomi; sons Alan Kaneshiro and Michael Labit; daughters Jan Casey, Laura Cook and Nicole Halliday; brother Kenneth; sisters Daisy Inokuchi, Sally Akima and Carol Akazawa; 19 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Keolu Hills Chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Committal services: 11:30 a.m. Aug. 22 at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl. Aloha attire.
