79Mauro "Papa" Valvieja, 91, of Kapaa, Kauai, a Lihue Plantation mill tender, died in Wilcox Memorial Hospital. He was born in the Philippines. He is survived by sons Ernesto and Orlando, daughter Marlene Eliana, 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 8:30 a.m. Saturday at Saint Catherine Catholic Church, Kapaa. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
