76Young Kyu Yu, 46, of Waimea, Hawaii, formerly of Honolulu, a Hawaii Community Correctional Center adult corrections officer and Kamehameha Warriors varsity football coach in Keaau, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Seoul. He is survived by wife Lianne, son Gary, daughters Nadine Chong and Leila Jean Ventura, hanai son Herman Kalani, mother Nam Boon, brother Young Kun, sister Jennie and 10 grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at William Charles Lunalilo Center on the Kamehameha Schools-Hawaii campus in Keaau. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Casual attire.
