74Valentin “Kuku” Bernard, 49, of Honolulu, a retired Kawananakoa Middle School facility engineer, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by brothers Alvin “Kala” Bernard and Charles Kealoha, and sisters Mary “Malia” and Valerie Bernard, Robinette White and Yardley Preuc. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Saturday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Services: 6:30 p.m. Casual or aloha attire.
