78Abigail Hew Len “Star” Burgess, 89, of Aiea, a state government retiree and lei seller at Arthur’s Lei Stand at Honolulu Airport, died in Aiea. She was born in Kapaau, Hawaii. She is survived by husband Herbert H.; son Herbert H.K.; daughters Gail “Moana” Thomas, Dawn “Lani” Clark and Val Burgess-Ma‘e; brothers Phillip C., Philip R. and Herbert Hew Len; sister Lillian Cameron; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Monday and 9 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Services: 6:30 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday. Burial: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
