Francis Xavier Blackwell Sr., 94, of Kihei, Maui, a founding executive director of Maui County Visitors Association and a Marine Corps veteran, died. He was born in Lawrence, Mass. He is survived by wife Elizabeth; sons Bruce, Daniel, Brian and David; daughters Diane, Mary, Ann, Barbara and Julie; and sister Maureen. Musical celebration and eulogy: 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Kihei. Mass: 10 a.m. Burial: 11:45 a.m. at Maui Veterans Cemetery, Makawao.
