75Taizan Sugimoto, 92, of Aiea, formerly of Pahoa, Hawaii, an independent grower of sugar cane and anthuriums, died in Kuakini Geriatric Care Home. He was born in Pahoa. He is survived by wife Chieko, son Melvin, daughter Janice Santo and three grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 4 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire.
