John Leslie “Pappy” Costa, 70, of Pearl City, a self-employed landscaper for Kathleen’s Landscape and Gardening Service and an Air Force veteran who served in the Korean War, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Dorothea; daughters Georgette “Lena” Miller, Georgine “Lynn” Griffin, Dollyann “Keoho” Miyashiro, Klara Manuel and Renee K. Costa; sister Patricia Lepe; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Mystical Rose Oratory at Chaminade University. Services: 6 p.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
