Kenneth Kazuo “KK” Kawamoto, 79, of Hilo, a retired Hilo Coast Processing Co. and Hilo Transportation and Terminal Co. superintendent, a self-employed independent consultant of equipment design and sales and an Army veteran, died in the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home in Hilo. He was born in Papaikou. He is survived by wife Mabel; and daughters Ava Taketa, Arlene Young and Gail Inaba. No services. No monetary offerings and flowers.
