Haruo “Terry” Teruya, 76, of Honolulu, a state Department of Transportation retiree and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Betty, daughter Kathy Ablan, brother Shigeru and a grandchild. Visitation: 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at Mililani Downtown Mortuary, 20 S. Kukui St. Services: 6:30 p.m.
