80Alexander Michael "Alex" Riviera, 80, of Hilo, a retired Island Printing Centers manager and owner and manager of the Hilo Serenaders, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Hakalau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Judyann "Judy"; sons Joseph Aguiar and Michael and Thomas Riviera; daughters Deborah Milare and Vanessa Riviera; stepsons Alan Jr. and Shaine Tavares; stepdaughters Serina Nasau and Crystal Agliam; brother Katsuyoshi Hayashida; sisters Anita Matthews, Priscilla Laxa and Elsie Rivera; 24 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 113 Kuawa St., Hilo. Services: 10 a.m. Urn burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Aloha attire.
