JOHN LAI KAU
Age 99, of Mililani, Hawaii, passed away September 2, 2011 in Iowa. Born September 30, 1911 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He attended Moiliili School and Kamehameha School for boys, graduated Class of 33'. Previously worked for the Oahu Sugar Plantation, Federal Government and Kukui Gardens. John and Fanny Lai Kau owned and operated the Waipahu Tavern
for many years. Preceded in death by his wife Fanny A.Y. Pang Lai Kau.
He is survived by daughter, Terry W. (Gary L.) Rogers; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation 9:00 a.m. Monday (September 26) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel; Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Burial 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
