John Lai Kau

John Lai Kau, 99, of Mililani, a former employee of Oahu Sugar Plantation, the federal government and Kukui Gardens and the owner of Waipahu Tavern, died in Iowa. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by daughter Terry W. Rogers, four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Monday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, makai chapel. Services: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park.
