EDWARD CLAYTON STEVENSONEDWARD CLAYTON STEVENSON
Passed away peacefully on September 12, 2011 at the age of 79. A dedicated husband and Father, Edward was preceded in death by his wife of over fifty years, Pearl Klovdahl Stevenson. During their marriage, they lived in Colorado and Hawaii where they made many lifelong friends. He is survived by his son, Edward E. Stevenson and his brothers, Robert and Roy.
Edward was an active member of Bethany Lutheran Church for many years and a Big Brother in the Big Brothers and Sisters Program.
Edward was a Civil and Structural Engineer involved in designing transportation improvement projects for over forty years. During this time, he was in charge of over 100 highway and airport projects with a construction cost of over 1.5 billion dollars. Edward had many projects in Hawaii, the Philippines, Saipan and China. Before his retirement, he served as a project director for the E-470 highway toll projects and the 20th Street viaduct replacement project.
An intimate family memorial service was held for him at Bethany Lutheran Church in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado.
