78Samuel Egmidio "Kamuela" Borges, 83, ofHilo, a retiree from the state Department of Transportation Airports Division, died at home. He was born in Puna, Hawaii. He is survived by daughters Laurie Ann Santiago and Agnes and Marian Borges; brother Joseph; sister Momi Bell; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
