Manabu "Champ" Matsumoto, 89, of Honolulu, a retired city electrician, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Alice M., son Donald Chisum, daughters Joy Matsumoto and Helen Chisum, three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Wednesday at Diamond Head Mortuary.
