74Rose "Rosa" Salinas-Watanabe, 67, of Hilo, a retired Big Island Candies factory worker, died in Life Care Center of Hilo. She was born in Hilo. She is survived by husband Albert T.; sons Henry T., Allan K. and Eric T. Watanabe; daughters Deneen Ongais Louie, Renee Ongais-Salvador, Rosanne Ongais, Daisy Ongais-Kilaulani and Donna A. Watanabe Eckersley; brother Jose Salinas; sisters Julita Silan, Breheda Aiona; Gloria Grider and Rita Daniels; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Thursday at Dodo Mortuary, Hilo. Services: 6 p.m. Additional visitation: 8 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Mass: 10 a.m. Cremation to follow. Urn burial: 10 a.m. Saturday at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Flowers welcome.
