81Kent Douglas "Unkl Ken" Gibboney, 65, of Kapaa, Kauai, a retired drywall taper, died at home. He was born in Troy, Ohio. He is survived by wife Sylvia; son Elijah; daughters Nichelle and Kymberley; stepson Tim Cowan; stepdaughters Andrea Cowan and Kimberly and Melanie Lum; brothers Patrick, Daniel and Chris; numerous grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Thursday at Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall. Celebration of life: 5 p.m. No flowers.
