David Kaluna Kai Jr., 76, of Pearl City, a Leahi Hospital retiree and an Army veteran, died in Nuuanu Hale. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Carolina; sons Craig, Derek, Bradley and Jason; daughters Verna Lau, Melody Sulliban and Kelly Moniz; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Committal services: 11:30 a.m. Friday at National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Punchbowl.
