Donald "Don" Hiu, 81, of Honolulu, a retired controller and a retired Army captain, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Curt, daughter Kathy and sister Muriel Rodrigues. Visitation: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Services: 10:45 a.m. Committal services: 1 p.m. at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
