Gene Shigeo "Piggy" Haraga, 78, of Kaneohe, a retired Royal Hawaiian Hotel controller and an Army veteran who served in the Korean War, died in Kaneohe. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Jean, son Dayton, daughter Donna Banks and three grandchildren. Visitation: 3 p.m. Saturday at Nuuanu Memorial Park & Mortuary. Services: 4:30 p.m. Casual attire.
