Walter J. Egami, 71, of Pahoa, Hawaii, an Army National Guard mechanics' technician, and a veteran of the Army and Army National Guard, died in San Bernardino, Calif. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Dolly K.K.; sons Walter J. Jr. and Darrell K. Sr.; daughters Mariann K. Vasquez, Jennifer L. McNamara, Pamela K. Nakooka and CathyAnn L. Kawaakoa; 17 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Aloha attire. No flowers.
