78Daniel Keanahou “Danny” Anakalea, 68, of Honolulu, a merchant seaman, Palama Settlement gym attendant and former groundskeeper, died in Reno, Nev. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by companion Deborah Ward; son Danny D.; daughter Patricia A. Paz; brothers Bernardo, Lawrence “Hinano,” Anthony and Francis “Koa” Agbigay; sisters Diana Easley, Evelyn S. Schwarz and Bernie Nakano; and numerous grandchildren. Services: 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Palama Settlement, Higashino Dining Room, 810 N. Vineyard Blvd., Honolulu. Casual attire. No flowers. Donations suggested to Palama Settlement or Bluewater Mission Church.
