Rosalie was an acclaimed artist in the islands for over 50 years. Her paintings captured a whimsical view of Hawaii. Rosalie fell in love with Hawaii the moment she stepped off the plane from Los Angeles with her husband John, children Frances, Patricia and Nick. Paul the youngest was born in Hawaii. She is survived by three of her children, her grandchildren Aaron, Khristine, Jorden and T.J. and her brothers Chuck and Richard. Services will be held at St. John Vianney Parish in Kailua at 10:00 AM December 7, 2011. Please make a charitable contribution to the Hawaiian Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
