Claude Daniel "Dan" Sidebottom, 71, of Ocean View, Hawaii, an Air Force veteran and truck driver, died. He was born in Fruita, Colo. He is survived by wife Patricia, son James "Todd" Nighswonger, daughters Elizabeth Ann Sherwood and Tami Jo Anthony, sisters Darlene Martin and Faye Reardon, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Ocean View Evangelical Community Church. Additional services: noon Monday at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to Ocean View Evangelical Community Church Children's Fund.
