Zensuke Uyechi, 88, of Kailua, a retired Hawaii State Steel welder mechanic and an Army National Guard veteran, died in St. Francis Hospice Puiwa. He was born in Papaikou, Hawaii. He is survived by son Gregory E.; daughters Colleen Y. Uyechi and Geraldine Y. Castillo; brothers Thomas and Stanley; sisters Kiku Hao, Sarah Long and Carol Kauaihilo; and two grandchildren. Private services.
