Virgil Victor Carvalho, 59, of Hakalau, Hawaii, a retired paramedic assistant, died at home. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by wife Clara, son Russell, daughter Raynette Horn, mother Henrietta, brothers Raymond and Alton, and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Mass: 10 a.m. Aloha attire. No flowers.
