71William Kaiako “Chucky” Kalili, 61, of Kailua-Kona, a drywall plasterer, landscaper and maintenance man for Uncle Billy’s in Kailua-Kona, Keoua Canoe Club coach, Kona Ikaika Semi Pro Football coach and musician for Kahula o ka Moana Pakipika, died in Kona Community Hospital. He was born in Kealakekua, Hawaii. He is survived by son William Jr.; daughters Paulbrina Canon and Kahula Kalili-Jones; mother Mary; brothers James Jr., Stephen, Fabian, Sebastian and Jerome; sister Bernadine Kalaiwaa; and eight grandchildren. Visitation: 7 a.m. Saturday at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church Hall. Mass: 10 a.m. Scattering of ashes to follow at Honaunau Bay. Casual attire.
