Roy Arthur MacDonald, 69, of Honolulu, a retired Navy operation sonar specialist, died at home. He was born in Cleveland. He is survived by wife Karen; sons Ralph, RobertEleonard, Rogerwilliams, Roymand and Robertrianroyson Makanani, and Earl Sueyoshi; daughters Kreesheradawnnielle Makanani and Earline Sueyoshi; companion Pearl Mendiola; brother George; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Committal services: 1 p.m. Monday at Hawaii State Veterans Cemetery, Kaneohe.
