80Melvin Kwanei Tamayose, 76, of Kailua, a retired state Department of Transportation plumber and Heide and Cook Ltd. retiree, died. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Esther H.; son Kerry H.; daughters Suzy K. Yoshimura, Lisa Y. Chow and Jill K. Goo; brothers George and Francis; sisters Carolynne Aragaki and Clarice Kumura; and six grandchildren. Visitation: 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 5:30 p.m. Casual attire.
