Age 73, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away November 29, 2011 in Honolulu. Born August 22, 1938 in Hilo, Hawaii. Retired Master Sergeant from United States Army and he was also retired from Outdoor Recreation Services in Schofield Barracks.
He is survived by wife, Rose M. Van Gieson; daughters, Myrene Van Gieson, Jackie Van Gieson; son, Jonah Van Gieson; 5 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; sisters, Marlene (Sam) Pae, Annette Nao.
Visitation 6-9 p.m. Thursday (December 22) at Mililani Mortuary Mauka Chapel; Wake Service 7 p.m. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
