William Whitford Jr., 88, of Mililani, a Halekulani Hotel bell captain and an Army veteran, died at home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by son Charleston "Charlie," daughters Charmaine Silva and Charlene Kawamoto, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
