74Masaaki “Masa” Hiraiwa, 91, of Honolulu, a retired carpenter, died in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Hilo. He is survived by son Howard H.; daughter Esther A.; brothers Gary, Dave and Hiroshi; sisters Masako Suehiro and Shirley Isagawa; and a grandchild. Private services.
