76Jean Kimiko Kawakami, 68, of Mililani, former owner of New Saimin House, died in Straub Clinic & Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Robert J.; daughters Kathleen K. Oshiro, Aileen R. Matsunaga and Kristy M. Kawakami; mother Fumie Asato; brother Charles T. Asato; sisters Elsie T. Otani, Ethel T. Sadamitsu, Susan T. Higashide and Judy O. Nakano; and five grandchildren. Visitation: 5 p.m. Friday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Services: 6 p.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
