FAMILY PLACED OBITUARY

DAVID HAILI KEAWE
DAVID HAILI KEAWE David Haili Keawe formally from Laie and resided in Kahana. Passed on December 15th, 2011. He was a tractor trailor truck driver for Island Recycling and a trucker for thirty years. He was a member of the Ko'olauloa Hawaiian Civic Club and choir. Also a member of Veterans of Foreign Affairs and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Hau'ula 2nd Ward. He was a member of the Kahana Community Association and Friends of Kahana. David was a survivor of pancreatic cancer for five years. He is survived by his wife Danielle Ululani Beirne Keawe, 2 sons, 2 daughters, brother Alexander and Adam, sisters Yvonne Kaiahua, Kamai Napa'a, Rose Kaiahua, Maxine Kaokai, and Jennifer (Thomas) Sutton. Nine grand-children and four great-grandchildren 29 nephews and 28 nieces. Services at Hau'ula 2nd Ward, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Makai Chapel), December 29th, 2011 from 9-11am. Burial at 2:00pm at the Hawai'i Veterans Cemetary in Kaneohe. "Papa we love you!! Keep on trucking with the Lord".
