THOMAS MAHONEY
Thomas Mahoney, long time Island resident, passed away peacefully December 26, 2011 in Murrieta, California. Born November 26, 1928 in Holy Oak, Massachusetts,Tom was a Veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars. While serving for the United States Air Force he also attended the University of Chicago where he acquired a Masters Degree in Business. He retired from the Air Force in 1969 and moved on to a long banking career and ultimately retired from First Hawaiian Bank in Honolulu, Hawaii.
Tom is survived by Shirley Mahoney, their Children, Terese Stone, Thomas W. Mahoney, Jr, Gregory Mahoney and Kathryn Fleischer; 5 grandchildren. Tom was preceded in death by he and Shirley's son, Daniel Mahoney.
