76Herbert Hitoshi "Tosh" Takayama, 72, of Hilo, a retired mason, died in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Kalaoa, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Trudy M.; daughters Aileen P. Acob and Elena Takayama; stepdaughter Alicia Minchew; hanai sons Warren and Chad Leorin; hanai daughter Tia Leorin; brother Isaac "Sonny"; sisters Louise Ichikawa, Velma Langsi and Promise Grace; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation: 9 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary. Services: 11 a.m. Casual attire. No flowers.
