Tatsuo "Tex" Uemura, 83, of Hilo, a hairdresser and retired proprietor of the former Tex Hair Stylist in Hilo, died at home. He was born in Honomu, Hawaii. He is survived by brother Arthur. Private services. No flowers. No monetary offerings.
