74Maurice W. "Ale" Akau, 82, of Honolulu, a Hawaiian Telephone Co. retiree, died in the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sisters Elaine Kaopuiki and Bertha Akau. Visitation: 9:30 a.m. Monday at Star of the Sea Church, 4470 Aliikoa St. Mass: 11 a.m. Burial: 12:45 p.m. at Diamond Head Memorial Park. Aloha or casual attire. Flowers welcome.
